Basic Concepts

To fully understand the rest of this guide, you need to be familiar with the concepts presented on this page.

The Data Directory

Nearly all the interesting files for users live under the data directory. The data directory is a platform-dependent location:

macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Olle

It's used to store all the important aspects of the Olle toolbar. Find your conversations, prompts, and other things in this directory.

The Prompts Directory

This is a key directory located under the data directory. All of your custom prompts for supported programming and markup languages are stored here.

You can access the prompts directory from the main menu (Add Prompt) of the Olle app.

The Conversations Directory

The conversations directory contains all of the conversations you have with the Olle.
